Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful antique majolica pitcher. This is marked Czechoslovakia, Hand Painted and has BERN embossed along with a 1 1/2. I believe the 1 1/2 is litters as it is 2 quarts full to the top. It is done in a cobalt blue with colorful fruits, pears, grapes, plumes and leaves. There is a factory blemish on one side. Looks like it sat too close to the side of the kiln. Also a hairline at the back near the handle. Stands 8" tall by 7 1/4" from spout to handle.
