Rare and Authentic Antique Chinese (17th -18th century) Ching Dynasty Period Time quiver for arrows is made of hide, face is covered by brown silk, the metal applications are hand chiseled and gold gilded copper, centre pattern is made of green leather and the belt made of hand woven red fabric with brown brocade with beautiful gold gilded copper decoration .The quiver comes with large Jade Archer ring. Not to many Exclusive high qualities authentic Chinese Quivers like this one has survived to the present day. Almost identical quivers are published in the References: A distinguished collection of Arms and Amour of the Los Angeles County Museum, page 6, No 55. A Glossary Of The Construction, Decoration and Use of Arms and Armor by George Cameron Stone page 136 Figure 174 No 7. Dimensions; Height: 10 inches (25, 5 cm) and 6 3/4 inches (17,3cm) wide. Please note that the arrows shown as props are not included with the Quiver!! Condition: on the back of the quiver, in the hide are some minor holes, also small holes in the silk fabric on the front otherwise in good condition considering the age and the material that is made from.
