This Chinese cabinet is rustic and very practical. Traditionally, as well as today, it is used to store kitchen items-dishes, glassware, flatware, napkins, pots or food items. It is designed for easy eye-level and arm-level access. The top compartment has a shelf and the bottom compartment is open. The stain finish is golden brown. While the design is simple, there are carvings. The distinctive side carvings are carved through to the interior area; while the bottom doors have flower carvings. The legs end in a horse hoof design. The door pulls are made of brass, with the bottom door pulls being decoratively carved.
