Ming dynasty or earlier green jade carving in shape of miniature vase. The vase dates to circa 1500's, has 2 juxta-imposed panels featuring stylized Tao Tieh masks. The bottom has a suction cup shape form for exhibiting the vase. Flawless, high quality of jade. Size: 2.5 X 1 inches. Provenance: Dr. Veleanu's jade collection, the author of collectors textbook: "Jade: 5000 BC to 1912 AD"
