This pair of solid wood antique Chinese folding chairs remain in excellent condition. Being a pair and in excellent condition makes them rare. They are completely collapsible and being easy to carry, this style folding chair was often taken on hunting trips, carried by the servants for the master to rest upon. The bowed back rest are ornately carved with dragons, ruyi cloud motifs, florals patterns and other Chinese symbols. Of special interest are the corners which have carved inserts and have brass hardware connectors. The seats are woven fibers. These folding chairs have foot rest.

Since they are a matching pair, to better preserve their value and integrity, they must be sold as a pair. The price listed is for the pair of chairs.
