Antique Carving Chisel Bent Front Gouge 9/32 inch

$32.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice carving chisel that was part of a large collection of mostly English chisels like S.J. ADDIS, HERRING etc.. This one is not marked by the maker, but is of similar quality as the mentioned brands. This one is medium sweep. standard bent front gouge chisel with the tapered smaller width back toward the handle. We note the quality of the steel is very good, and the condition of the chisel is also very good, ready to use out-channel sharpened. It measures a 9/32" wide at the widest point of the cutting edge, and is 9.2" long overall. The handle is nice looking (English 8 sided design) has some past owner's marks and initials, otherwise nice looking, and in very solid condition. A nicely designed, quality made, antique carving chisel!
