Qing Dynasty antique Chinese chair. Very beautiful Oriental style and carvings. The center back yoke is designed in three panels and finished in black and brown. The top panel features a lotus blossom, the center panel is an Asian garden screen and the bottom panel resembles a stylized eagle or phoenix. All four sides have stretchers carved in a simple floral pattern. The front feet are curved inward. The back yoke curves outward slightly near the top bar. The seat is 21" high. Very beautiful light reddish brown finish.
