Telegraph Pliers & Wire Cutters 10 Inch Flat Nose

Unavailable

This is a nice vintage pair of flat nose telegraph linesman's pliers with no maker's mark on them. Made in the late 1800's style. This type of pliers is 10" long overall, and has three different wire cutter features around the pivot joint area. All 3 wire cutter areas are in very good usable condition. The jaw serrations almost appear to be hand files, and they may be. The flat jaws area seem to touch more at the end of the pliers than back by the pivot, by about .03" opening near the pivot part of the flat jaws. The pivot pin is good and snug, there is some minor dings and scratches noted on the outside, but the pliers are nice and straight, not damaged or bent up. A rather hard to find triple cutter design!
