This antique frame is wood and gesso. It is painted black and has silver highlighting. The gesso corners are chipped off and there are surface splits in the gesso around the edges. There is glass over the print and it is in great condition with no breaks, chips or cracks. The frame holds a large photo or print of a lady with 2 children. The lower right corner of the photo is deteriorating. This piece has lots of character, the picture is great. The board used to back the picture is an old Bull Durham advertising board that is cut to fit the frame. See the photos below. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece measures 24 ½ inches tall, 20 9/16 inches side to side and 1 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 8 pounds.
