This is a wonderful antique bone china fancy scalloped and ribbed bowl with a hand painted on transfer design of fantasy birds made for Harrods Department store in London, England in 1909. The beautifully made bowl measures 1.5 inches high by 7.5 inches long by 6.25 inches wide and is by an unknown maker I have been unable to trace. The design id brown transferware with hand coloring and applied enamel accents with flowering trees, streams and birds with a green rim. The bowl is in very good ++ condition with no chips, cracks or pattern wear, but there are some utensil marks in the bowl. A wonderful piece.
