You are looking at an antique armchair from the early 1900's. This chair has a large balloon style back and it is very comfortable to sit in. The upholstery is vintage not original however it is in excellent condition with no stains, rips, tears or odors. The chair skirt is bullion fringe and adds a bit of elegance to the style. The chair is very traditional in its design and the legs are made of oak and the front legs have casters. We do have a settee that matches this chair available in our store as well, be sure to check it out. I do not know who made the chair or the exact date it was made. The chair measures 45 1/2 inches tall, 32 3/4 inches side to side and 35 3/4 inches front to back. It weighs 58 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
