Brilliant design on this antique Chinese coffee table or low table will make it a focal point of any room. Probably originally a tall table, it was shortened at some time. Nevertheless, the style and design is beautiful with the repeating carved bamboo style moldings and stretchers surrounding the weaved center carving. The edges of the table's surface are rounded, which match the rounded legs. The light brown patina of the walnut wood reveals the mortise and tenon construction.
