Antique Art Deco Meriden Silverplate Tidbit Tray

Unavailable
Antique Art Deco silverplate tidbit tray, hand-hammered, pierced, and decorated, from the Meriden Silver Plate Co. - International Silver Co. The handle on this lovely tray is pierced in a simple geometric design. The tray is completely hand-hammered, except for the raised lip and the circular decorative design which incorporates a band of tiny pierced rectangles and floral baskets. On the bottom of the tray is a circular raised foot, about 3 7/8 inches in diameter which has a hallmark stamped into the center. The hallmark has a semi-cirle with Meriden S. P. Co. and International S. Co. around the outside, and what appears to be a lion holding a silver cup inside. Underneath the semi-circle is "752 1/2". The Meriden Silver Plate Company joined with other silver companies to form International Silver in 1898. The tray measures approximately 5 inches high, including the handle, and 10 inches in diameter. It is in good to very good condition, undented, with light surface wear and a few small areas of silver loss. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $11.00.
