Marvelous American arts & crafts tile from the Flint Faience & Tile Co., Flint, MI, depicting a caned basket overflowing with fruit. The tile is finished in terrific matte glazes and is in excellent/very good condition with some glaze skips original to the tile particularly around the blue tendrils spilling over the edges of the vase, in the left leaf of the pineapple and a central grape; and a slight nick to the glaze which has been reglued at upper right corner as shown. It appears as Flint Pattern No. 6661. Incised Flint Faience Tile on reverse. Please write with any questions you may have.
