Antique Adjustable Piano Stool Xclnt Condition Chas Parker Co Late 1800's NICE

Here we have an antique piano stool from the late 1800's. This stool is in excellent condition and has fresh upholstery on the seat. The base and legs appear to be dark walnut with a very dark (almost black) finish on them. The feet are brass claw holding a glass ball. The iron hardware under the seat is cast with the Chas Parker Co Meriden CT in it. An X stretcher holds the legs and there is a pedestal that comes from the center of the seat to just below the stretcher. The legs are turned spool style and the seat is covered in a very nice tapestry like velvet fabric with silky long fringe making the skirt. The fabric colors are neutral shades of beige and gold with a hint of chocolate brown. I do not know the exact date this stool was made, it appears to be in original condition other than the upholstered seat. This stool is very solid and sturdy. The stool measures 20 1/8 inches tall, 17 7/8 inches side to side and 17 7/8 inches front to back. It weighs 17 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
