Lovely antique four piece English sterling silver tea set by Frederick Elkington with ornate hand engraved design
Set consists of;
hinged lid tea pot 11 1/8 inches long (handle to spout), 4 3/8 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches high, weight is 725gm
hinged lid coffee pot 9 1/2 inches long (handle to spout), 3 7/8 inches wide, 8 3/4 inches high, weight is 815gm
open sugar bowl 8 inches long,3 5/8 inches wide, 3 3/8 inches high, weight is 350gm
creamer 4 3/4 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, 4 inches high, weight is 225gm
Coffee pot lid is missing a small spacer under the knob, otherwise the set is in very good condition, not worn, not bent, no dents, no monograms.
Marked with English lion sterling mark, leopards head London city mark, queens head and u 1875 date mark and FE Frederick Elkington makers mark on the bottoms, matching marks on the lids.
