Antique 17th century, Indian - Mughal-, Maratha sword Surai DETAILS: Long steel blade of European origin with three fullers, straight for the two-third of its length, and then curved for the remainder .A massive steel hilt of characteristic Khanda form including a pair of short langets with shaped terminals extending over the forte, a pair of short quillons, shaped guard extending to form the knuckle guard the interior with velvet cushion liner.
