Anglo Indian Ceylonese Specimen Top Table, Circa 1860; circular tilt-top inlaid with a whorl of specimen veneers including Ivory and Ebony. This style was a specialty of the Galle District of Ceylon which was famous for it's specimen-wood furniture.
