To a fine and rare pair of early neoclassic New York City brass and iron andirons. The urn tops are trimmed in bead trim above tapered columns having capitals and bases. The column is footed on a belted plinth which rests on ball and claw footed legs having turnings and two pairs of spurs. The andirons retain the original wrought iron center shafts and billets.
