This cut-glass bowl was produced during the "American Brilliant" cut-glass period (1980-1915). The diameter is 8 inches and the depth of the bowl is 4 inches. It is designed with curved miter splits separating the elements of design which form three ovals in the bottom of the bowl. Flash Fans set above these ovals which are filed with hob stars and acute triangles. Three large buzz-saw designs are cut on the sides of the bowl between the ovals. All cuts have been polished. The glass does not contain bubbles or imperfections. The bowl is in excellent condition. One scallop on the rim is chipped broken. The bowl is not marked.
