Terrific antique tile made at The Providential Tile Works, Trenton, NJ, c. 1886-1890, designed by the renowned Isaac Broome while he was there. Tile depicts an elegant gentleman with goatee and curly long hair, lace collar and fur-lined overcoat. The tile measures 6"x6" and is finished in a warm brown glaze with some flesh colored glaze in the man's face. The tile is in very good condition with some old restorations at right edge near top, top edge at center and at lower left corner. No wear to the high points of the glossy surface and edges in good shape. Please write with any questions you may have.
