What a thermos this is....aluminum/metal on the outside, with a complete insert of glass on the inside.....remove the top cover, converts into a cup....screw off the lid and look inside and there is a glass thermos on the inside....carrying handle...great item.stands 10 inches tallI am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
