Charles Allerton & Sons made this Punch transferware pattern ca. 1880-1890. A very popular children's pattern as it was designed from the delightful Punch and Judy puppet show. This was an instructional toy, to show little girls the proper way to serve tea. This teapot is in excellent condition. No scrapes or chips. It was a treasured piece.
