Beautifully engraved certificate from the Allegheny Improvement Company issued in 1906. This historic document was printed by the Western Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a train. This item is hand signed by the Companys President ( John Scullin ) and is over 97 years old. John Scullin was the founder of Scullin Steel of St. Louis. The Scullin Steel Company was a major steel company in the St. Louis area and had an exhibition at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis.
