Alex Jr. 1878 is on this hand painted ironstone pitcher. It shows a aligator frog & small lizard (like a chain of life) a women/butterfly a couple of warriors/ lots of characters (Japanese?) It appears to have been done by a child. I did extensive research on this item, but didn't come up with a positive ID on this, very unique style PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE PAINTER OF THIS ITEM. The age would appear to be correct of 1878. 8" high
