Here's an old Albany-slip stoneware batter pitcher with its lid. This is from an estate in upstate New York. The lid has some chips on it. It also isn't quite the same color as the pitcher but it fits nicely and was with the pitcher when I purchased it. There are no cracks or hairlines that I can see. If you like old country primitives, this is quite a nice batter pitcher.
