A fine clean First {Limited?} Edition of "Agnew's 1817 - 1967, by Geoffrey Agnew, published by The Bradbury Agnew Press Ltd, of 44 Saffron Hill, London EC1, in 1967; being a history of the first 150 years of this internationally renowned firm of Fine Art Dealers from their early beginnings in Manchester to the rarified position attained by the firm in London's West End in the mid-1960's. Hard covers, large format, Foreword, Introductions, 90 pages of text plus a lovely full colour plate depicting "Sea Piece - Folkestone, by J.M.W.Turner, R.A., together with 240 superb black and white plates, illustrating a selection of the important pictures that have passed through the firm's galleries during the period.
