A beautiful steel engraving of the Beagle "Blue Bell" from the extremely rare book "Anecdotes of Dogs". London, 1846. Black wood frame, cream archival mat, ready to hang. The sight measurement is 6.25" x 8", the full measurement is 10.5" x 12.5". London, published by Richard Bentley, 1846. Caption reads "Blue Bell, formerly the property of Sir John Sebright Bart". Very attractive.
Condition: Caption is slightly rubbed, otherwise in Excellent condition in a lovely vintage-looking frame.
