African God or Chief ? hand carver from a dark brown wood

One very fine hand carved African God or Chief or i don't know ? I'm not sure what to call this carving. It is in very fine condition, i can not find any damage to the carving any where. The color of the first picture is off, it should be a dark brown color very similar to the second picture. There is a big bird at the feet looking up in the face of the carving. The base is triangle 2-3/4" by 2" by 2", it is 10-1/2" tall by 3-3/4" wide by 1-3/4" depth, it weighs 5.4 ounces. Questions welcomed.
