This is a set of 5 - 1920 ads that have been professionally framed and matted in 11 x 14" gold frames with an off white matte. Each picture is 8.5 x 5.75" in size. There are 2 ads from the Holeproof Hosiery Company of Milwaukee, WI. The two prints were done by E. S. Klempner and by Coles Phillips. The company was founded in 1901 and between 1916 and 1925, it was the largest producer of men's and women's hosiery and lingerie. Picture #3 is from the Allen A Hosiery Company of Kenosha, WI. The ad has a copyright date of 1923. It also was a large producer of men's and women's hosiery during the 1920's. Picture #4 is from The House of Royal Worcester, Leaders in Corsety. It was founded in 1860 and manufactured the Royal Worcester line and the Bon-Ton Corsets line from the mid 1800's to the 1930's. Picture #5 is from The Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. It was founded in 1875 and by 1929 it was the largest producer of bathroom fixtures. It later merged with the American Radiator Company and produced products under both names until it became the current American Standard Company in 1967. These prints would be a great display in any bath, powder room or as part of an advertising collection.
