Advertising Game Oil Company - National Refining/En-Ar-Co/White Rose Gasoline
Unavailable
The National Refining Company was founded in 1882, selling En-Ar-Co Motor Oil. White Rose Gasoline was launched in 1929. In 1950, National was sold to Ashland Oil. This advertising game board features a different game on each side, with instructions. The checker board side states at the bottom, "We cannot furnish checkers because of bulk in mailing--buy them at almost any 5 & 10 cent store." Game pieces for the other side are included - an Enarco spinner and three markers. Originally there were 4 markers, one each for the maximum number of players, but since the game can be played by 1-4 players, one missing marker is not a major issue. The game board folds down to 7.25 to 5.25. The game is in good condition, with wear noticeable at the folds and yellowing consistent with age.
