Beautiful Adams antique plate. Chinese Ching is a gaudy pattern based on classical Chinese painting. It depicts elegant women in a garden with a pavillion. On the inner rim are peonies and foliage and on the outer rim are geometrics and florals. It is hand colored with touches of red, ochre and green.
PLEASE NOTE - We have 2 of these plates.
MARKED on back Wm Adams & Co/ England, Chinese Ching as shown in photo.
Circa late 1800s to early 1900s
MEASURES: 10 inch diameter
Very good condition. No cracks, chips, dings or repairs. Some light wear and crazing from use and age.
