Beautifully engraved certificate from the Acme Harvesting Machine Company issued in 1920. This item is hand signed by the companys president ( W. L. Jacoby ) and treasurer and is over 83 years old. There is also an embossed corporate seal. The company was incorporated in West Virginia and its plant was located in Peoria, Illionis. The company was originally established in 1859 in the manufacture and sale of harvesting machinery, including binders, mowers, rakes, and headers. The certificate was issued to J. W. Zollars, who was the previous company Treasurer.
