Jim
Kamnikar - President and Chief Executive Officer
Jim has over 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience
with IDS, Curtis Mathes and Trimark Insurance Agency. Jim was
Vice President of Sales at Antique Networking, a pioneer in the
online antiques industry, where he built relationships with trade
show promoters, trade publications and dealers internationally
from 1996 until 2001. He became Senior Vice President of Business
Development at GoAntiques in 2001, and took over as President
and CEO in January 2003.
Mac
Liaw - Chief Technology Officer
Mac entered Ohio State University's Masters Program in Computer
Science at age 15. He was a member of the CERN development team
that established HTTP and HTML. He is active in the Linux Kernel, Groovy development and
Haskell open source project.
Kathy
Kamnikar - Senior Vice President, Business Development
Kathy founded Antique Networking in 1994. Kathy served as President
and CEO until the company was sold to GoAntiques in 1999. Under
her leadership, Antique Networking grew rapidly and developed
the proprietary technology that is now the backbone of GoAntiques.
Kathy created the PriceMiner data-licensing program for libraries
and was instrumental in establishing the relationship with Gale
(Cengage Learning) who now licenses PriceMiner to libraries internationally.
She also created and manages the partnership relationship with
Xactware, allowing insurance companies to provide access to antiques
and collectibles to insureds suffering losses.
Michael
Glick - Vice President, Operations
Michael gained his Masters Degree in Educational Technology from
Ohio University. Michael began his career with Antique Networking
in 1999 as a Project Manager and then served as Director of IT
for GoAntiques where he oversaw the porting of the company's technology
to the current Linux/db2/java platform. He was promoted to VP
Operations in February 2005 where he oversees Live Auctions as
well as the daily operations of the company.
