A Pair of Rare 18th Century Silverleaf Candlesticks These rare 18th C. French parcel silver leaf candlesticks will make a spectacular statement in any setting. The tall shaped and turned stems all rest upon a tripod base with projecting c-scrolls and paw feet. The motifs are primarily varying forms of the acanthus leaf, sometimes combined with egg and cabochon motifs. These rare and beautifully hand carved French, parcel silver leaf candlesticks from the 1700s will bring much enjoyment to any lover of antiques. *Please note we have matching pair (Code SR16B)* Condition: Losses of some ornamentation ,chips to wood, and loss of silver leaf consistent with age.
