The Marquise was a particular favorite of King Louis XIV. In the Maintenon pattern, Gorham's interpretation of French Baroque style is restrained, elegant, and timeless. This service consists of: coffeepot (9.75" W x 11.5" H); teapot (10.25" W x 9.75" H); cream pitcher (5.25" W x 6.75" H); covered sugar pot (8" W x 7.75" H); waste bowl (5.25" W x 3.75" H); and butler's tray (29" x19"). Note: the tray is sterling, not plate. The total service weighs 246 ounces. Maintenon is an obsolete pattern. The purchaser of this service would be the second owner in 80 years. Shipping extra.
