Here is a hard to find matching set of 8 walnut Victorian dining chairs. These chairs are substantial and generous in its seat size compared to many Victorian chairs. Its style has Eastlake and Aesthetic influence. The back has carved finials and a deeply carved panel in the crest rail. There is a central upholstered cushion with delicately turned spindles along the top and bottom. I love how the chair looks from the back with its interesting pattern of wooden slats and supports. The seat and back cushion are covered in a simple muslin. They are ready to be recovered in your favorite fabric if desired. The panels of spindles are repeated on 3 sides of the seat. The legs are boldly turned with reeded carving. The chairs rest on replaced wooden and brass casters. Their finish is in excellent condition having a rich color and patina. All the chairs are tight and in excellent condition.
