Magnificent French oil on canvas painting depicting Jesus on the Cross. This beautiful painting stands 11'H and 8'W. Early 19th or late 18th C., this painting came out of a French church in Paris. The quality of the work is such that it would seem that only one of the Masters of the time could have painted it. We have not identified the maker, that will be up to you, but we offer it at a price that leaves room for a potentially major increase in value if the painting can be attributed with the proper research.
