The absolute best antique 19th century, quarter-sawn oak griffin dining set by Horner Brothers. Includes a beautifully-carved table with two fully skirted and carved leaves that extend the table to 10'. The eight griffin chairs (two arm chairs and six side chairs) have been beautifully re-upholstered. The set has been refinished. You won't find a better Horner dining set than this. Horner Brothers manufactured in New York City in the late 19th century and was the premier furniture maker of dining sets, hall pieces, desks, and library tables all using figural carvings or griffins.
