6 sets of Austrian Japan Imari Lunch Plates w Beehive Mark 1880s

Unavailable
A beautiful set of handpainted plates from the 2nd half of the 1800's. Plates are in a Japanese Imari style with an Austrian beehive mark on the reverse that is similar to the Ackerman Fritze mark that is broadly lumped into "Royal Austrian" and a derivitive of the Royal Shield. (Ackerman has two horizontal lines vs. the one here, thus I do nto attribute to them.) Note there was not one consistent mark for the factories in this area that are lumped into Royal Austrian. http://www.worthpoint.com/blog-entry/royal-vienna-and-beehive-mark. These plates are 8 3/4" in diameter and have scalloped boarders and are free of chips and defects. They are a matching set of 6. Shipping, with insurance, is $15.95 in the US, with insurance. If you are buying internationally, note, before you pay we will have to calculate the shipping as insurance varies by country and will need to be included.
