6 NORITAKE NIPPON HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN SMALL BOWLS OR BERRY BOWLS IN AN UNIDENTIFIED PATTERN. THESE BOWLS FEATURE A WHITE GROUND WITH YELLOW ACCENT. THE EDGE IS IN THE PIE CRUST STYLE, SCALLOPPED AND ROLLING. THERE ARE APPLIED DOTS, GREEK KEY DESIGN IN GOLD, AND FLOWERS IN PINK, EACH & BLUE. THE CENTER OF THE BOWL HAS A SMALL BLUE & PEACH FLOWER. THESE BOWLS ARE IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH VERY LITTLE WEAR. THE MARK ON THE BOTTOM IS IDENTIFIED AS: "M" standing for "Morimura" in a wreath, crowned by "Hand painted" and below, NIPPON. This mark was introduced in 1911 and possibly in use until 1921. It bears a typical back stamp of Noritake, the letter "M" in a wreath and the words "Hand painted" and "NIPPON".
