Set of (6) Czechoslovakian Cranberry glass cognac snifters with hand painted 24K gold encrusted enamel, raised pastel flowers and vines. This Art glass, resembling Byzantine enameled glass, became very popular in 1920's and was also produced by Moser (see Moser Artistic Glass, plate 56 & 154). This set was acquired by family relative in Czechoslovakia in 1950's. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. 2 snifters have paper label "Fabrique en Tchecoslovaquie" which means "Made in Czechoslovakia" - most likely intended for export to France. Dimension : 3-5/8" high and approx. 3" in diameter. CG206
