Large Orientalist Arab Hunter Bronze Sculpture After Guillemin & Barye

Unavailable

This patinated bronze sculpture from the early twentieth century depicts an Arab fighter on horseback, after the original sculpture by Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin (1841-1907) and Alfred Barye (1839-1882). It measures an impressive 49" (124 cm) tall and weighs an estimated 125-150 lbs. There are no signatures nor foundry marks.  Condition is good.  There are dents, scratches and nicks, plus areas of verdigris, and the rifle is not original.
