This patinated bronze sculpture from the early twentieth century depicts an Arab fighter on horseback, inspired by the sculpture created by Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin (1841-1907) and Alfred Barye (1839-1882). It measures 45" (114 cm) tall and weighs an estimated 100-150 lbs. There are no signatures nor foundry marks. This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( hantiques )
