This lovely Paris porcelain tea service dates from the early to mid nineteenth century and includes:
1 tea pot (9" x 10 x 5.75"; 2 lbs. 8 oz. wt.)
1 covered sugar bowl (7.5" x 6" x 5.5"; 1 lbs. 14 oz. wt.)
1 creamer (7.5" x 6" x 5.5"; 15 oz.)
2 platters (11.75" x 8.75" x 1"; 3 lbs. ttl. wt.)
1 bowl (6.75" diameter x 3.5" high; 14 oz. wt.)
12 plates (7.85" diameter; 6 lbs. 6 oz. ttl. wt.)
12 saucers (5.75" diameter; 6 lbs. ttl. wt.)
10 cups (4" x 3" high; 3 lbs. 15 oz.).

The color is off-white with extensive gilding a hints of royal blue organic decoration. There are no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. There is considerable wear to the gilding, but overall the condition of the set is very good. One cup has a hairline running from rim to base, and there are no other known cracks to the set. Total weight of the set is 26 lbs. This item comes from a family which has been collecting European porcelain for four generations. It resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment. This set must be picked up and packed by our local UPS Store.
