Measures: 4-1/8" L x 3" W x 3/4" T  and weigh 9.8 ounces before packing ~

Condition: All 3 still have the Ucagco red and silver foil sticker ~ On the Cardinal cigarette rest bottom is a black mark upon inspecting with it was in the making as in the Oriole rest ~ But both are tiny but under the glaze ~ Some of the gold is worn on the gold line trim but the res is in very go condition ~ On the very bottom outside edge on Goldfinch are two tiny flea bites ~ These might have sat on a table more for show than use ~ These look like hand painted transfers ~

History: An importer of dinnerware and glassware UCSAGCO (United china and Glass Company) was founded in 1850 by Abe Mayer and was originally called Abe Mayer & Co. ~ The UCAGCO name came into use in the 1930's with offices in New York and New Orleans ~ Their Japanese agent, S.A. Stolarkoff, signed the first contract that permitted imports from Japan following WWII ~ In 1956 the company was sold to Sammons Enterprises with Stolarkoff serving as the company president at the time but retired in 1962 ~
