What a lovely dinnerware set to add to a collection or to start one. We have here 22 piece of J&G Meakin Semiporcelain dinnerware in the Jackson pattern. It is a pattern of scrolls and bells. Gold highlights the scroll embossed rim. We have 5 dinner plates 9 across. 2 with crazing but otherwise excellent. One with crazing a two small chips under the rim. one with crazing and slight darkening. And one with dark crazing and several chips. Next is one square serving plate with slight darkening and crazing. It is 10 1/4 square. We have 2 salad plates 6 7/8 across. One in wonderful condition with only minor wear to the gold. The other has crazing with darkening and 2 chips on the rim. Next are 3 cups and 4 saucers. Saucers are 5 7/8 across. 3 have a small nick on the rim and two of those show wear to the gold trim. The cups are 2 3/8 tall by 4 1/2 wide. Two have a tiny nick on the rim. We then have 3 oval bone dishes or sauce bowls, never saw ovals ones so I am not certain. They are 1 1/2 tall by 6 long and 5 3/4 wide. 2 show gold wear and have a tight hairline. One of these also has a nick on the rim. We have 1 soup bowl 1 5/8 tall by 6 1/8 wide. This has 2 smaller chips under the rim. The small footed serving bowl has wear to the inner gold trim. It stands 3 tall by 6 1/4 wide. The gravy boat with under plate is in near mint condition. Gravy stands 3 3/4 tall by 8 1/2 long. Under plate is 1 3/8 tall by 8 1/4 long by 5 1/8 wide. It has a glaze pop. Some of these pieces are in such excellent condition to add to a display and use the others daily. Using your antiques is worth it all.
