An interesting New England fireplace mantelpiece having rich moulded sections and three tablets to the frieze with reeding contained in the corner cut panels. Above and below are moulded belt courses. The mantel jambs or legs have moulded pilasters with sail form capitals and are on projected moulded plinths. The hearth interior and exterior are mounted with a half round section. The mantel has been hand cleaned of all old paint buildup, woodwork repairs have been made as necessary and the mantel has been redecorated in authentic milk paint colors. Should you wish to paint the mantel, use a soft cloth with turpentine to remove any wax from the surface of the mantel prior to painting. NOTE: This mantle should be installed by your mechanic in accordance with all local fire and building codes. (#1791)
