To an architectural fireplace mantelpiece having a moulded shelf above a course of dentilation. The plain frieze is mounted with two end tablets above a belt course which form capitals for applied moulded pilasters footed on a surbase. The mantel opening is trimmed with a replaced trim section. The mantel is presently finished in a replica milk paint finish which was done in the period. NOTE: This mantle should be installed by your mechanic in accordance with all local fire and building codes. (#1599)
