2 Hand Cut Crystal Condiment Bottles with Hinged Lids
2 Antique Hand Blown and Cut Crystal Condiment Bottles with Hinged Lids. They must be honey, jam or mustard jars because there is a slot for a serving spoon or folk to rest in. They are heavy and the top section has deeply octagonal facets. The bottom is strait to fit into the holders of a caddy. The lids are heavily tarnished silver or silver plate . I am unable to find any markings.. There are pontil marks on the bases of each. One is 6" tall and the other is slightly shorter.
The condition is very good on the taller bottle, The shorter one has an old crack about 1" long going horizontally along the bottom section of the first row of facets. Initially I thought it was a dark stain on the glass since it is thin and I cannot feel it but it won't clean up so it must be a crack.
