I am not sure who made this lovely portrait vase, but some dealers have told me that it may be Russian and that the portrait is that of a Russian czarina. This vase has a lid with a bronze pineapple finial and a bronze band around the neck of the vase. The base is also bronze in an oyster shell motif. The overall color is a delightful yellow. The background and gown of the royal lady are blue to match her eyes. The detail in the portrait is wonderful. One can count the jewels in the tiara and high collar of the lady. A rare find from a south Florida estate.
